The National Defence College is currently holding an inauguration ceremony for participants of the Course 28.
Performing the inauguration, the Minister of Defence, Major General Bashir Magashi (Rtd), stressed the need for participants to contribute their quota towards addressing the nation’s security challenges.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of First Bank, Mrs Ibukun Awosika who was also in attendance, stressed the need for enterprise education.
This according to her, would ensure economic diversification and the overall development of Nigeria.
She also spoke about security, noting that the increasing migration of rural settlers to urban cities, if left unchecked will continue to pose security challenges.
Mrs Awosika, therefore, stated that the nation’s security challenges can be addressed through widespread development and deliberate structuring of economic opportunities.
