NUJA new executive of the National Association of Women Journalist (NAWOJ), Niger state chapter has been inaugurated.

Speaking during the inauguration in Minna, the National President of the Association, Asabe Nayaya appealed to members of the association to be united and support the new leadership.

Also speaking at the event, the newly sworn-in chairman of the association, Mary Jalingo, promised to take the union to greater heights during the three years tenure of her leadership

In her acceptance speech, the newly elected Chairperson, Mrs. Mary Jalingo disclosed that Nawoj in Niger state does not have any faction adding that, “we are a happy big family, some members are not here right now because of the nature of our job.”

Other members of the state EXCO include Habiba Dauda as Secretary, Felicia Ibrahim Financial Secretary.

It should be recalled that on Wednesday a faction of the association led by Hajiya Halima Bawa was inaugurated and sworn in by Mr Isiaku Usman under the supervision of the NUJ state Chairman Iliya Garba.
