Gunmen have shot dead a ticket collector around Oke Isa Roundabout, Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital.
The incident happened in the early hours of Tuesday but the identity of the man is yet to be known.
The man, who was one of those issuing tickets to commercial motorcyclists, was shot dead by the gunmen, who according to eyewitnesses, ran away immediately after perpetrating the act.

The Chairman of Okada Riders Association, Ekiti State, Kunle Asaolu, said the man was one of those working with the association.
Also, the spokesperson of the Ekiti State Police Command, Sunday Abutu, confirmed the incident, adding that an investigation has commenced.
The corpse has been deposited at the Ekiti State Teaching Hospital morgue.
